Born in a nationalistic family driven by the ideology of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, political career had an early start.
An active member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), was not only deeply involved in campus elections of Mumbai University, but was also a part of agitations on wider issues such as Bofors scam, terrorism in Kashmir and connecting with the alienated North East. Participated in “Namantar” agitation, which resulted in Marathwada University being renamed as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
In 1989, got my first experience of organizing a large-scale event and was a part of the team that organized the national ABVP convention that year.
Once graduated from university, the focus then was on building a professional career.
Politics has been my inspiration since youth and have always been passionate about social service. My value system, imbibed since childhood from my parents, allowed me to think beyond ourselves and look at the larger context of the nation and society. Incidentally, during my college days I was active in Akhil Bhartiya Vidyathi Parishad (ABVP). Therefore the call of politics proved to be too strong to resist & in 2003, accepted the offer of becoming Rozgar Pramukh of BJP by leaving behind a successful career in technology major IBM.
In 2006, played a major role in organizing a 125-km youth rally, spread over 6 days in response to the deadly serial blasts that rocked Mumbai in July 2006.
In 2007 Nashik Municipal Elections in Nashik, played the role of a successful catalyst in persuading the large number of victorious independents to support BJP-Shiv Sena combine.

Conviction that beckons
अश्वं नैव गजं नैव व्याघ्रं नैव च नैव च | अजापुत्रं बलिं दद्याद्देवो दुर्बलघातक:!
No horse, no elephant, no lion is ever sacrificed on the altar of God. Who is sacrificed is the meek & weak goat. That means even God can’t save the weak & helps the one who is brave & equipped to fight his own battle.
Belief that inspires:
Antodaya: All politics must make a different to the antyodaya, the last man in the line.
Dream that drives: (Chitto Jetha Bhayshunyo)
“Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action;
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake”
– Rabindranath Tagore
